Opportunity Changes Everything

Our Work

Creating Opportunity. Strengthening Communities. Investing in Potential.

The Robertson Legacy Foundation turns belief into action through scholarships, educational opportunities, community investment, and support for organizations helping people move forward.

Scholarships & Education

Education can change the trajectory of a life. We invest in students and educational programs that expand access, encourage ambition, and help young people move from possibility to opportunity.

Cristo Rey High School

Supporting student scholarships and expanding access to educational opportunity

DREAMer's RoadMap

The Robertson Legacy Foundation provides financial support to DREAMer’s RoadMap, helping expand access to higher education for undocumented, DACA, and first-generation students. Our connection also extends beyond giving: Angela has shared the stage with founder Sarahi Espinoza Salamanca at a Silicon Valley Latinas event, reflecting a shared commitment to education, representation, and creating pathways to opportunity.

Hollister High School

Direct scholarship support helping local students take their next step after high school.

Sacred Heart Nativity

Our commitment extends beyond financial support. Angela Robertson serves on the Board of Directors, while the Foundation contributes funding and personal time in support of Sacred Heart Nativity’s mission to expand educational opportunity and help students build pathways toward long-term success.

San Benito Robotics

Investing in hands-on STEM learning through youth robotics and summer programming

Community investment

Strengthening the Organizations Doing the Work

We believe lasting change is often created by organizations already deeply connected to the communities they serve. Our role is to strengthen that work through financial support, leadership, partnership, and personal engagement.

Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley

Our relationship extends beyond financial support. Angela Robertson serves on the Board of Directors, contributing her time, leadership, and experience, while the Foundation also provides direct financial support to help advance educational opportunity, leadership development, and community impact.

Latina Coalition of Silicon Valley

Supporting leadership development, civic engagement, and the advancement of Latina voices through direct financial investment in an organization creating meaningful opportunities within the community.

Martha Niño Foundation

The Robertson Legacy Foundation provides financial support to community-focused efforts that create opportunity and strengthen families. Angela Robertson also serves as an advisor to the Martha Niño Foundation, contributing her experience and perspective in support of its broader mission.

Leadership & Opportunity

Investing in People Who Will Lift Others

Opportunity grows when people have access not only to resources, but also to mentorship, experience, and people willing to open doors. We invest our time, experience, and financial support in organizations developing the next generation of leaders.

Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE)

Angela has engaged directly with SHPE communities in both San Francisco and at UC Santa Cruz, sharing her experience and perspective with students and emerging professionals. In 2026, the Robertson Legacy Foundation also contributed $2,000 to help two students attend SHPE’s annual conference, expanding their access to professional development, networking, and career opportunities.

ALPFA — San José State University

Joel and Angela have spoken with the ALPFA chapter at San José State University, investing their time directly with students and emerging leaders through mentorship, professional insight, and conversations about education, careers, leadership, and opportunity.

Meeting immediate needs

Showing Up When Help Is Needed

Not every need is about long-term opportunity. Sometimes meaningful impact means responding to what people need right now. Through direct giving and in-kind donations, we support organizations helping individuals and families meet immediate needs with dignity.

CHAM — Homeless Ministry

Providing ongoing financial support to efforts serving people experiencing homelessness and helping meet basic needs within the community

In-Kind Giving

Through clothing, household goods, shoes, coats, and other essential items, the Foundation helps put useful resources directly into the hands of people and families who need them

420+ Items Donated

In one documented initiative alone, the Foundation provided six boxes containing approximately 420 donated clothing items, in addition to other household and clothing donations made throughout the year
